Workshop Mechanic - Greenhous Refurbishment Services Limited, Livingston

Hours: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, with 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid) i.e. 42.5 hours per week.

An opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Workshop Mechanic at our Livingston site.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

What you’ll be doing:

• Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications.
• Understand and work to customer standards.
• Removing and refitting parts to ensure repairs are to a very high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
• Maintain a tidy and professional working environment.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in mechanical and electrical fitting.
• Good knowledge and understanding of multi brand cars and vans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Have a strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
