Progress Chaser

An opportunity has arisen for a Progress Chaser to join our busy successful sales team at Lumen Automotive.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle Tracking and Coordination

• Monitor the status and progress of vehicles through preparation stages, including used car MPC and valeting.
• Ensure all vehicles are ready for display, customer handover, or delivery on time.

Communication and Liaison

• Act as the primary point of contact between departments, including sales, service, workshop, and valet teams.
• Provide regular updates to the sales team and management on vehicle status and expected completion times.
• Liaise with third-party suppliers, such as body shops and accessory fitters, to track external work progress.

Process Management

• Identify and resolve delays or bottlenecks in the preparation process to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in scheduling vehicle handovers, ensuring all required paperwork, keys, and accessories are ready.

Quality Control

• Conduct visual checks on vehicles to ensure they meet company standards before customer handover.
• Highlight and address any issues or discrepancies with the relevant department.

Requirements:

• Good organisational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well within a team and independently.
• Previous experience would be advantageous but not essential.
• Requires a Full UK Driving License.
